It is reported that AS Roma are interested in Florent Malouda of Chelsea.
The Italian club have hit snags in their attempt to sign Julio Baptista from Real Madrid and have since turned their attention to the Chelsea midfielder.
The twenty eight year old Frenchman has been out of favour at Stamford Bridge and the move may suit him as he prepares to sit out most of the season with Chelsea.
It has been felt for a while now that if AS Roma are to challenge Inter Milan, AC Milan and FC Juventus they will need to bolster their squad.
