After Aston Villa lost their fifth consecutive Premier League game without scoring, manager Paul Lambert finds his position once again under threat. The Scot signed a new deal with the club, and has since lost every game in the league. Its seen Aston Villa sliding down the table, and supporters are starting to lose patience.

Many are fearful the Midlands outfit will be struggling at the lower reaches of the table for the majority of the campaign, which could see Lambert losing his job as a result. The last three seasons has seen Villa finishing in the bottom-half, struggling to remain in the division.

Despite a strong start in 2014/15, picking up 10 points from four games, Villa are now 15th in the table. Lambert isn’t the only manager under threat of losing his job, however, as QPR manager Harry Redknapp and Burnley boss Sean Dyche are also struggling in the Premier League and under pressure.
