Atletico Madrid readying bid for Lacazette

Spanish media outlet Marca is reporting that Atletico Madrid have joined the chase for Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette.

Marca understands that Atletico Madrid have made the first contact with Alexandre Lacazette’s representatives with a view to making their interest concrete in the summer transfer window.

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has already decided to cash in on his prized possession at the end of the season and the player himself is ready for a new challenge.

Following some outstanding performances in Ligue 1 and Europe, Lacazette will be the subject of a genuine bidding war in the summer, with les Gones obviously looking to sell to the highest bidder.

With 28 goals to his name this season, the 25-year-old is clearly one of Europe’s most prolific strikers.
