Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Roma are the latest club to have joined the race for Saint Etienne star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Giallorossi plan to cash in on first choice centre forward Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, but they do not want to replace the Italy international with another classic striker as they are eager to give Mattia Destro a chance to shine.
It is for that reason that the Italian giants are keeping close tabs on Saint Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who can cover a number of positions in attack.
Following yet another impressive season in French top flight, the Gabon international is eager to leave les Verts for a big European club.
The problem is that Roma could face a still competition from the likes of PSG, Chelsea and few other European giants.
Aubameyang has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 17 goals and producing 8 assists in 29 Ligue 1 matches.
