According to the Corriere dello Sport, Barcelona are set to launch a fresh transfer bid in the region of €20m to €25m for Juventus hitman David Trezeguet.
Trezeguet has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the past couple of months, and new manager Pep Guardiola is said to be desperate to sign the prolific marksman.
Juve have always stated that the prolific marksman, who arrived in Turin from Monaco in 2000, would be staying but their resolve will surely be put to the test should they receive such an offer.
With Trezeguet set to turn 31 later this year, and with a host of top class strikers already at the club, such as top scorer Del Piero, Iaquinta and recent recruits Amauri and Giovinco, Juve may decide that the money is too good to turn down.
A move to Barca would see Trezeguet link up with long-standing friend Thierry Henry.
