Spanish international and Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is believed to be heading for the exit door at Manchester United with Jose Mourinho being appointed new club manager.
The Portuguese tactician did not rate Mata highly during their Chelsea days and there are increasing reports claiming that the 28-year-old midfielder is considering his options as he needs to leave for his own sake.
According to Catalan paper El Mundo Deportivo, Juan Mata is an option for Barcelona this summer transfer window.
La Liga champions are hoping to take advantage of Mourinho’s arrival to make a move for Juan Mata who would bring plenty of experience to Barcelona squad and could fill in a number of positions behind the MSN attacking trio.
Manchester United midfielder played a major role for his team under the guidance of Louis van Gaal making the total of 38 appearances in the Premier League.
Despite a fairly successful season on the personal level in the campaing he finished adding six goals to his name as well, the Spanish international failed to make it into the Spain Euro 2016 squad and will have plenty of time to consider his options during summer.
