German champions Bayern Munich are keeping close tabs on FC Basel forward Breel Embolo, Sport1 has revealed.
The Bavarians coach Pep Guardiola has reportedly received glowing reports of the youngster’s performances and he is keen to lure him to Allianz Arena at the earliest opportunity.
Bayern Munich are not the only top side keen on the forward’s signature, with the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Roma also in the mix.
Breel Embolo is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out of FC Basel’s youth academy in recent years, and he is already seen as an important player for the club.
The 18-year-old bagged a total of 16 goals in 39 competitive outings last season, opening his Champions League account in a 4-0 win over Ludogorets.
Embolo was recently handed his national team debut as he represented Switzerland in a 1-1 friendly draw against the United States.
