Competition: Champions League
Market: Bayern Munich to win against Arsenal
Odds: 4/9 @ William Hill

Bayern Munich welcome Arsenal to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night and are looking for revenge after losing the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium. The German giants are favourites to come out on top in their own backyard against Arsenal, and could take big steps to booking their place in the last-16 with victory this week.

Bayern Munich are currently top of Group F after three games, but are level on points with Olympiakos. Their defeat to Arsenal last month will have rattled their cage, but Pep Guardiola’s side are still in great shape to top the table. Victory could see them go three points clear in Group F depending on Olympiakos’ clash with Dinamo Zagreb, while Arsenal have a chance of levelling their points tally with Bayern if they can win at the Allianz Arena.

It’s all to play for this week as a result, but Wednesday’s outing could well go the way of the hosts. Bayern Munich have been in fantastic form in their domestic league this season, winning 10 of their 11 games played. The Germans boast a brilliant defensive record in the Bundesliga, and are hoping to carry on such form into the Champions League. They won’t have it all their own way this week, however, with Arsenal also in fine form of late.

The Gunners are coming off the back of five consecutive wins in the Premier League, and will be full of confidence after beating Bayern Munich in their first meeting. Nevertheless, the Londoners have a real challenge getting a result on a ground Bayern have been unbeatable.
