Bayern Munich want Julian Draxler to replace Franck Ribery

The 34-year-old French international Franck Ribery is said to be running out of time at Bayern Munich.

Ribery has endured a difficult couple of seasons with the Bavarian giants mostly due to his ongoing problems with injury and Bayern Munich are said to be planning for life without him.

Left-footed winger is edging towards the end of his contract which expires in June 2018 and Bayern Munich have already identified his successor in the team.

According to reports coming from France Football, Bundesliga heavyweights are keen to land Paris Saint-Germain winger Julian Draxler.

Club president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Hasan Salihamigic have made it their personal agenda to persuade their French counterparts to sell the German international.

Draxler is said to be frustrated by the fact PSG are pushing with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe as their favoured two choices upfront.

The 24-year-old versatile midfielder still managed 10 Ligue 1 appearances this term.
