Bayern want Bacca to replace Lewandowski

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich plan to launch an assault on AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, Tuttosport can reveal.

The Bavarians need to have a replacement ready for their star striker in case Real Madrid make a move on the Polish superstar, although they still hope to tie him down to a new contract.

And in case Lewandowski leaves Allianz Arena in the summer, Bayern will attempt to lure AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca to Munich.

The Colombian has continued the rich vein of form after joining from Sevilla and new Bavarians coach Carlo Ancelotti believes he would be an excellent replacement for the Polish striker.

AC Milan are ready to consider offers in the region of €35 million, but the Rossoneri fans certainly hope the club will be able to hold on to Bacca this summer.

After enjoying two very successful years at Sevilla, the 29-year-old went on to score 14 goals in 30 Serie A appearances this season.
