Portuguese giants Benfica are keeping close tabs on Independiente del Valle forward Michael Estrada, A Bola quoted Ecuadorian media as saying.

The Eagles have been following the striker’s performances this season, although they have yet to make their move.

Estrada joined Independiente del Valle from El Nacional in January this year and he went on to produce 17 goals and 9 assists in 32 competitive outings.

The record becomes even more impressive when we know that he only started 22 of those games, while making 10 substitute appearances.

Estrada has so far earned three Ecuador caps, making two substitute outings in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying.
