Bertotto breakdown hurts Siena

Siena defender Valerio Bertotto will be out for at least three weeks after undergoing exploratory knee surgery.

The 35-year-old former Italy player had the operation to investigate a meniscus problem in his left knee. So far this season he has made 16 appearances for a Siena team sitting 13th in Serie A.
