(GSM) – Besiktas have started their Turkish title campaign with a narrow but valuable 0-1 win at Bucaspor, while Galatasaray immediately dropped points at Sivasspor.

The only goal at the match between newly promoted Bucaspor and Besiktas came in the first minute after the break and was scored by Brazilian Bobo. The assist came from former Real Madrid midfielder Guti, who formed part of the team’s starting line-up.

Bucaspor were a man down for the last 14 minutes following a second yellow card for Ediz Bahtiyaroglu.

Galatasaray had a good start at Sivasspor as Mustafa Sarp put the Istanbul outfit ahead in the seventh minute, but Bruno Mbanangoye leveled shortly before the break and Cihan Yilman got the winner on the hour mark.
