Burnley 4/7 to be relegated from the Premier League this season

Newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley are being tipped for relegation in their maiden campaign in the top flight.

The Clarets earned promotion by coming second in the second tier in 2013/14, but such is their weak squad by comparison to the other league outfits, Sean Dyche’s side are being given odds of 4/7 by Bet 365 to get relegated this season.

While they have signed the likes of striker Marvin Sordell, defender Steven Reid, goalkeeper Matthew Gilks, defender Matthew Taylor, striker Lukas Jutkiewicz and winger Michael Kightly, Burnley still are only signing Championship-level players and many believe that won’t be enough to keep them in the top tier.

They have, however, retained their impressive strike duo Danny Ings and Sam Vokes, both of whom will be crucial to their survival hopes, but Burnley are tipped to be the first side down in 2014/15.
