Former Milan boss Fabio Capello believes it may be a mistake for Clarence Seedorf to take over at the club.
Seedorf has been highlighted as one of the favourites to replace Massimiliano Allegri at San Siro, despite having no managerial experience.
However, Capello believes it may prove a wrong move for both the club and the current Botafogo midfielder, with the Italian citing the pressure involved with managing Milan as a potential problem.
“In my view Allegri has worked very well and ought to stay, though we know presidents have a different way of evaluating situations,” the current Russia boss told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I trained Seedorf many years ago and always respected him, but being coach of Milan is not a joke. As a first experience, it could be a big risk.”
Capello served Milan as both player and manager, winning five Serie A titles, one UEFA Champions League, one Coppa Italia and one European Supercup.
