Market: Chelsea to Win
Odds: 4/7 @ Ladbrokes

While the Toffees have already beaten Chelsea this season, winning 1-0 when the two sides met at Goodison Park in September, this weekend’s meeting promises to finish in Chelsea’s favour – with Jose Mourinho’s side a safe bet with Ladbrokes at 4/7.

Everton’s away form has been woeful of late. The side haven’t won on their travels since December last year, picking up just two points from the following four games on away soil.

Roberto Martinez’s men average just over a goal a game away from home, and considering Chelsea boast the best defence in the league, surely another safe bet would be 1/5 for Everton to score less than 1.5 goals against Chelsea in the weekend clash.

While Everton’s impressive league showing would have many doubting Chelsea being able to comfortably see past the Merseyside outfit, it’s worth noting Everton haven’t beaten the Londoners at Stamford Bridge since 1994 – couple that with the fact Mourinho has dropped just four points at home all season.

Prior form going into the match will of course play a factor, with Chelsea unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games – winning eight – while Everton have one win in four, and no win away from home this year. Chelsea a shoo-in with Ladbrokes on 4/7 this weekend.
