Michel Vorm has been added to the Netherlands squad for Monday’s World Cup qualifier against France after Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen sustained an ankle injury.

Cillessen suffered the setback on Saturday and Tottenham’s Vorm has been drafted in to provide cover and competition for Maarten Stekelenburg and Jeroen Zoet.

Oranje play host to France off the back of a 4-1 win over Belarus on Friday, a game in which Wesley Sneijder picked up a hamstring problem that leaves him as a major doubt to face Didier Deschamps’ men in Amsterdam.

Both France and Netherlands have collected four points from their opening two outings in Group A.
