Real Garcilaso have a slight edge over Nacional after a 1-0 win in their round-of-16 Copa Libertadores tie on Thursday.

Peru’s Real Garcilaso went ahead on 36 minutes through Rolando Bogado’s goal and held off Uruguay’s Nacional in a scoreless second half at the Estadio Garcilaso.

The defender netted Fabio Ramos’ delivery to give Real Garcilaso the edge heading into the second leg.

Uruguayan champions Nacional host the second leg at the Estadio Gran Parque Central on May 10.
