Columbus Crew managed to beat Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0 at the Crew Stadium on Saturday night.
Alejandro Moreno scored the only goal of the match and his ninth goal of the season to hand the Crew the win.
Los Angeles continues to disappoint and has now the fewest points in the Major League Soccer.
“I always expected a great atmosphere, and it was a great atmosphere,” Beckham said after the match. “And I like the climate. It’s more like in London. … It was a bit colder tonight, so perfect to play soccer in. I enjoyed it, apart from losing.”
Columbus Crew goalkeeper William Hesmer said this after the match: “I thought overall it was one of our ugliest games of the last 10, but it was effective. If we’re going to play one of our ugliest games and still come out with a win, I think that says a lot about our team.”
