Croatian starlet on Arsenal radar

Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Sunday People can reveal.

The Gunners had long ago been alerted of the highly rated footballer, while they had their scouts present at the derby game between Dinamo and Hajduk Split three weeks back.

Arsenal seem to be considering a January swoop for the 21-year-old player, but they are unlikely to get their man on the cheap.

Brozovic has largely impressed ever since he joined Croatia’s biggest club from Lokomotiva Zagreb, scoring 9 goals in 57 league appearances.

The central midfielder has so far earned four Croatia caps and he represented Vatreni at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

According to the latest reports, Brozovic has caught the eye of Europe’s top clubs and it shouldn’t be long before he leaves his current employers for greener pastures.

The youngster already has some European experience, having made 21 appearances in European competitions.
