Daniel Didavi nears Wolfsburg switch

Stuttgart midfielder Daniel Didavi is almost certain to join Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window, Bild can reveal.

The highly rated footballer is enjoying another excellent season at Mercedes-Benz Arena, having managed impressive 10 goals and 3 assists in 23 Bundesliga outings.

And with his current contact due to expire at the end of the season, chances are that Didavi will be leaving the Swabians for greener pastures in the summer.

Wolfsburg are believed to be leading the chase for his services as they are ready to offer the 26-year-old a lucrative deal worth €4 million per campaign.

The Wolves chief Klaus Allofs confirmed to Kicker that Didavi was one of the players they were looking at, and everything suggests a deal will be agreed in the coming weeks.

Wolfsburg currently sit five points behind Champions League positions and they are 4/1 chance to achieve a top 4 finish.
