The Catalans desperately need to sign back-up for the MSN trio and the Italian forward has been on their radar for quite some time.
Barcelona scouts have watched the Italy international in action on numerous occasions this season and they have been impressed with his performances.
The Catalans coach Luis Enrique appreciates the fact that Berardi can operate in any position up front, and there is a chance he will soon step up his interest.
Even if Juventus have the option to buy the player back for €25 million, they are unlikely to do so, while the forward is also not too keen on moving to Turin.
