Bundesliga high flyers Borussia Dortmund are hot on the trail of Sampdoria playmaker Roberto Soriano, Gazzetta dello Sport has learned.
The Millionaires expect to stay without star player Ilkay Gundogan at the end of the season and they have wasted no time in finding him a replacement.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Borussia have made Roberto Soriano one of their top targets.
The highly rated footballer has shown a great deal of potential in Italian Serie A and has been linked with quite a few top sides in Italy.
And despite the fact that his current deal runs until June 2020, it is believed that Sampdoria would consider offers in the region of €15 million.
Roberto Soriano, 24, has been in fine form this season, scoring 4 goals and producing 3 assists in 17 league outings.
He opened the scoring as Sampdoria ended the winless run against Palermo, with the Blucerchiati now 12/5 to see off local rivals Genoa.
