Ecuador face Bolivia in this evening’s Copa America clash, and are hoping they can atone for their opening game defeat to Chile, so they can salvage their hopes of qualifying out of Group A. Currently bottom of the back after the first round of games, Ecuador could go second in the table if they can earn a victory against Bolivia, while hoping Chile do them a favour in beating Mexico.

Their form has been poor of late, however, losing three games on the bounce ahead of tonight’s fixture. Ecuador’s only salvation comes with opponents Bolivia being in poor shape too. Failing to win five of their last six games could well give Ecuador the edge, given the superior squad, and they know only a win will do in their pursuit for a top-two place.

The South American outfit will be desperate to get points on the board, as their chances could be all but eradicated if results go against them in the group. As a result, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 4/6 for Ecuador to come out on top against Bolivia.
