English giants keen on Benfica starlets

The Daily Mail has suggested that a number of English Premier League clubs are looking at several Benfica footballers.

The Eagles began their Champions League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Besiktas and reports claim that scouts from over 30 clubs were present at Estadio da Luz.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City were among them as they made another check on their targets.

The same source has suggested that the likes of Eduardo Salvio, Alex Grimaldo, Victor Lindelof and Goncalo Guedes are all being linked with a Premier League move.

The problem is that Salvio, Grimaldo and Guedes all have €60 million release clauses in their respective deals, with only the Swedish defender available at €30 million.

Benfica have already secured some excellent deals over the last few years and the good trend looks likely to continue in the near future.
