Everton offer €30m for Raul Jimenez

Portuguese daily newspaper Record has suggested that Everton have offered €30 million for Benfica striker Raul Jimenez.

The Toffees signed Sandro Ramirez from Malaga earlier this summer, but they are clearly in the market for new attacking reinforcements.

Said offer for Jimenez was rejected as Benfica want closer to €50 million for their star player, but chances are they will have to lower their demands.

Namely, while the Eagles received a while ago a €50 million proposal from China, it is highly unlikely a European club would offer as much for the Mexican.

Latest reports suggest that Monaco are also keen on the 26-year-old as they prepare for life after Kylian Mbappe.

Raul Jimenez did well to score 12 league goals in his first two years at Benfica, having started mere 14 fixtures, while making another 33 substitute appearances.
