Competition: Premier League
Market: Barkley to join Man City
Odds: 2/1 @ 888 Sport

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley is being linked with a move to Manchester City this summer, after a dream campaign that saw the 20-year-old represent England in this summer’s world Cup as a result of his fine showings for the Toffees.

Barkley is valued at around £20M, but money isn’t a problem for City. There are looking to strengthen their midfield to ensure they have options in case of injury to key personnel, and Barkley has been on their radar in the last 12 months.

Last season, the Everton man made 34 Premier League appearances, scoring six goals, boasting an 85% pass completion, while making 80 successful dribbles. He created 26 chances and made 33 tackles too.

888 Sport are giving odds of 2/1 for Barkley to join Manchester City this summer, as the Citizens are expected to be selling a host of players, one of which is former Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell, who could potentially be used as a makeweight to lower Barkley’s asking price.
