Serie A outfit Fiorentina have announced on their official website that they are set to complete the signing of Argentine midfielder Hernan Toledo from Velez Sarsfield.
French media outlet L’Equipe claims that the left winger will join Viola on a two-year loan with an option to buy for €7 million.
Hernan Dario Toledo is yet another impressive product of the Velez Sarsfield youth academy and he leaves the club after making just 19 league appearances at senior level.
The 20-year-old quickly managed to nail down a regular starting berth and he now gets a chance to prove his worth in Italian Serie A.
Fiorentina have earlier added Davide Astori and Ianis Hagi to their ranks, while uncertainty surrounds seasoned strikers Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez.
Viola are believed to be closing in on Salvatore Sirigu and Cristian Tello, while star player Borja Valero is being linked with a move to AS Roma.
