(GSM) – Sergio Floccari’s agent has hinted that his client’s future is likely to be far from Lazio, if he gets the right offer from Genoa.

The 28-year-old striker moved to the capital in January with a view to a €9m transfer in June, but Lazio and Genoa have yet to come to a final agreement.

Floccari made a real impact on his arrival, scoring three goals in his first two games for the relegation battlers.

Earlier today Lazio President Claudio Lotito said he wouldn’t talk about the transfer market until the end of the season.

Floccari’s agent Claudio Vigorelli said to Lalaziosiamonoi.it:“Sergio’s wish is to stay at Lazio. He has found Rome to be the ideal environment.

“Sergio has a great relationship with his team-mates and the fanbase, but it’s clear that this is not enough.

“We must speak with Lazio to understand if there are the conditions to go forward together. Lazio and Genoa are talking.

“In the last few months, Sergio has shown all his worth. It’s obvious that if Lazio want to sign him outright they must also think about discussing his contract situation again,” Vigorelli explained.
