Competition: World Cup
Market: Germany to win the World Cup
Odds: 11/4 @ Bet 365

With a 1-0 win against France enough to book Germany’s place in the semi-finals, where they will face host nation Brazil, many are backing the European outfit to go all the way.

While the four teams left in the World Cup (Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Holland) haven’t greatly impressed, Germany are the one nation who have been consistent in major international tournaments.

The Eagles have now made four consecutive World Cup semi-finals, and Bet 365 are backing Germany to go all the way this time around, with odds of 11/14. Managed by Joachim Low, Germany last reached a World Cup final in 2002, but lost to eventual winners Brazil.

Germany have four of their five World Cup games this summer, drawing one. They’ve conceded just three goals, while keeping three clean sheets. While not at their best in this summer’s tournament, Germany do look the most likely to deliver on the grand stage, such has been the measure of control they’ve shown in the majority of their games.
