Competition: World Cup
Market: Germany to win against USA
Odds: 4/7 @ Betfair

Germany will qualify for the last 16 as Group G winners with a win against the USA this evening. They are currently top of the table with four points, but level with the Americans going into the last game. Their goal difference is superior which means the Eagles will top the group even if they draw against the USA.

A point would mean both first and second go through, while Portugal and Ghana would be going out. Betfair are backing Germany to see past the USA this evening with odds of 4/7, however, which would give a chance for both Ghana and Portugal to go through if either side beats the other convincingly enough to overturn the goal difference.

Germany have looked strong so far in this summer’s tournament, but had their moments in the 2-2 draw against Ghana recently. Manager Jurgen Klinsmann will face the country that he was once a big part of down the years, but now is hoping to beat them or at least avoid defeat to go through.
