Watford have signed Adlene Guedioura from Crystal Palace, handing a three-year deal to a player who helped them to promotion when on loan at Vicarage Road last season.
An undisclosed fee has been paid to make Guedioura Watford’s 13th signing since gaining promotion from the Championship.
Guedioura scored three goals in 17 appearances for Watford last term as they went up in second place behind Bournemouth.
He faces stern competition to make a similar impact for Watford this term, with the likes of Etienne Capoue and Valon Behrami signed in the centre of midfield since Slavisa Jokanovic was replaced by Quique Sanchez Flores in the Vicarage Road hot seat.
A solid start to life back in the Premier League saw Watford draw their opening three games of the season, but subsequent defeats to Preston North End and Manchester City saw them eliminated from the League Cup and drop to 17th in the top flight.
