Gustavo warns Bayern against complacency

Bayern Munich’s Brazilian defender Luiz Gustavo is confident his side will not underestimate Hoffenheim in Sunday’s Bundesliga clash.

The Bavarians comfortably sit atop the league table, by 17 points from Borussia Dortmund, whereas Hoffenheim are in a relegation battle, but Gustavo has warned that Bayern cannot afford to take the game lightly.

“We’re determined to win on Sunday; we want to pick up three points and we’ll play our usual game there as well,” Gustavo told the club’s official website.

“We know Hoffenheim are in a difficult situation and, as a result, they’ll fight because they’re in desperate need of a win.

“We’ve got to be ready for it though, and maintain our style of play.

“I want to lift trophies here at Bayern, therefore I still want to win on Sunday.”
