Players of Serbian side Crvena Zvezda had their cars attacked by a group of local hooligans, who supposedly wanted to express their opinion on the club’s recent results.

The players were in a meeting with new coach Cedomir Janevski at Belgrade’s Marakana stadium, when the group managed to find their way into the car park, where they seriously damaged no less than twenty cars.

Guards, present at the car park, reportedly stood no chance against the thirty or so hooligans.

Cvrena Zvezda, one of Europe’s most successful clubs in the late eighties, were thrown out of the UEFA Cup by Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia.

In the Serbian league, Crvena are currently in twelfth and last position after two defeats and a draw.
