El Hadji Diouf insists he ‘loves’ it when he is booed by fans as he prepares to make his Blackburn Rovers debut. The Senegal attacker is expected to feature in Rovers’ clash with Aston Villa following his move from Sunderland.

“I love it when the fans boo me,” said Diouf in the Daily Express. “I want to score or give an assist to my team-mate. When I play for a team I will give them everything. When I played for Bolton I gave everything for them. Today I am at Blackburn and I’ll give 100 per cent. I’m here to work hard and do all I can to help make the fans happy and keep the team up.”
