Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas is said to have instructed his agent to work out a Serie A move.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper joined Porto back in 2015 and is set to leave the Portuguese giants when his contract expires this summer.

Casillas is not ready to call quits on his career and would like to test his skills in Italy.

Various media reports are suggesting that Casillas asked his agent to find him a suitable Serie A club next season.

The veteran shot stopper has thus far been linked with an MLS move but he is keen to have one last pop at a biggest European stage before moving to a less competitive surroundings, it is suggested.

Iker Casillas made 33 Primeira Liga appearances last season but his influence has been limited to only nine matches this term with 25-year-old Jose Sa being a preferred option in goal for Sergio Conceicao.
