Inter lining up move for Podolski

Arsenal have slammed an £11m price tag on Lukas Podolski amid interest from Inter Milan, according to the Express.

The Germany international, who won his 112th international cap as a substitute in Germany’s 1-0 win over Chile on Wednesday, has started just five games in the Premier League so far this season and completed ninety minutes just once.

With Olivier Giroud and now Yaya Sanogo ahead of him in the Gunners pecking order, the 28 year old could well be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium, and Inter are waiting in the wings.

The Serie A giants have already secured the services on Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic for next season, as they look to bounce back from a run of disappointing campaigns.

They currently sit in fifth place, eleven points behind Napoli in third, and look set to miss out on Champions League qualification for a third successive season.
