Brazilian and Real Madrid forward Julio Baptista is said to be very close to signing for AS Roma in Serie A.
This statement was made earlier today (Thursday) to the Spanish newspaper AS in Madrid by his agent Herminio Menendez.
Both clubs have apparently signed the deal which involves €9 million plus a further €2 million, dependent on appearances.
