Juventus to bid for Mahmoud Dahoud

Italian champions Juventus are readying January bid for Borussia M’gladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, Bild can reveal.

The Bianconeri were impressed with the youngster’s performances in the two Champions League games between the two sides and they appear determined to bring him to Turin at the earliest opportunity.

Juventus plan to step up their interest ahead of the upcoming transfer window and thus avoid seeing other top clubs join the race.

With Dahoud’s current contract due to expire in June 2018, chances are he will soon be offered a new deal at Borussia Park, and the Bianconeri aim to submit an official proposal before a contract extension is signed.

The 19-year-old surprisingly nailed down a regular starting berth this season, scoring 2 goals in 12 Bundesliga outings.

Meanwhile, Juventus host in-form AC Milan in an attempt to further close the gap behind their title rivals, with home win available at 8/13.
