AC Milan and Brazil ace Kaka has revealed he would like to see Barcelona star Lionel Messi win the Ballon d’Or.
Kaka wants the Argentine forward to win the award ahead of Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo this year.
“Messi is a truly great player. Cristiano Ronaldo is also very good and deserves the away, but I want Leo to be my successor,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He has incredible ability and can control the ball superbly and that makes him one of the best players in the world.
“I think he is the sort of player that you would always want in your team.
“I am only talking about this year. My aim is to recover my form as quickly as possible and to try and win th trophy again in Paris and the FIFA World Player of the Year in Zürich.
“But for that to happen I have to be playing at a consistently good level for Milan.”

Kaka is one of my favourites and as a United fan, I don’t know whether to take my star’s side or my team’s. I’ll take no sides, let me try to be realistic. Lionel Messi has got a lot more than skill or talent: he’s got speed, balance and spectacular ball controlling ability. He’s got a lower goal scoring ability but is way better when it comes to goal assists. The Argentine just shoots without aiming. Sorry to all Barca fans but it’s a fact. If he aims, I’m sure he will have a lot of goals attached to his precious record. He’s a wonderful player. His dribbling is incomparable to no other player in this era of soccer. He’s got a great ability to take multiple defenders at a go with his feet still attached to the ball. Honestly, he deserves the Ballon d’Or.

I STILL SAY DAT KAKA ISTHE BEST

Kaka is stil d world best playa. If is not scoring he is assisting others, dat’s d basics. Dribbling isn’t important in chosing best players. Messi, Casillas and Lampard are also great players fit 4 d ballon d’or.

I had no doubt straightly point messi is the best footballer in this era.His excellent skill and quickly penetration toward opponent team’s defense area haue stunned most players. We’d known many good players around the world but there’s no other would perform like him.

Christiano is also a good player, but i say messi is no 1.
One reason : christiano has bad attitude and arrogant.

I think this is the only sports site with very objective users. God bless u all for being objective. If world best is awarded to goal scorers then I’ll ask FIFA stripe Canavaro off his 2006 FIFA world best player award. Henry, Van Neistotroy, Raul, Luka Tony should go for their awards. We shouldn’t vote for players who are not able to perform when top class players are assembled. I decided my world best on the evening Barcelona played Man U. MESSI is the best!!!!

Messi is morethan c ronaldo in any level. If not for messi injury last season he would have been counting his goals with ronaldo. Give it to messi he deserve it!!!
