Lazio Roma risk losing their first place in the Italian Serie A after a 1-1 draw with Lecce on Saturday.
In fact, Lazio were very close to losing this game as Tiribocchi’s goal in the 25th minute seemed to be enough for Lecce to take three points from their Rome trip.
But striker Simone Inzaghi, who had come on only six minutes earlier, limited the damage with his equaliser in the 89th minute, at least earning his side one point.
Only SSC Napoli are in a position to actually surpass Lazio when they face Genoa on Sunday, but three other teams (Udinese, Internazionale, Catania) might end up sharing a spot with the Romans after Sunday’s games.

- Roma improving, says Spalletti
- Papadopoulos happy with Lecce move
