Loic Remy on QPR radar

A report in L’Equipe suggests that Queens Park Rangers are readying January bid for Marseille striker Loic Remy.

Sitting deep in the relegation zone, the Rs are eager to reinforce the squad in the winter transfer window, and signing a new centre forward remains a priority.

According to L’Equipe, new boss Harry Redknapp has made Marseille’s Loic Remy his number one target.

The experienced manager wanted to sign Remy while at White Hart Lane and he is convinced the 25-year-old would be a great asset to the squad at Loftus Road.

As a result, Redknapp is ready to offer around €10 million for the France international.

Remy, who has a contract until June 2015 at Stade Velodrome, missed the start of the season through injury and is slowly building his fitness.

He has scored just one goal in ten Ligue 1 appearances this season, but it is important to note he only started one of those games.
