Malaga secure first signing of summer

Spanish daily newspaper AS has learned that Malaga have agreed a deal to sign Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder Andre Felipe Bras Andre.

Club sporting director recently revealed los Boquerones had already secured one player for the new season and it has now been revealed that the Portuguese footballer is the man in question.

According to AS, Malaga will pay around €1.5 million for the transfer, with the 25-year-old set to join as soon as the summer transfer window opens.

FC Porto were also showing interest in his services, but Andre ultimately opted to accept an offer from the La Liga side.

The 25-year-old footballer has been in excellent form this season, bagging 11 goals in 30 league appearances, and he is expected to make quite an impact at La Rosaleda.

Malaga remain in a good position to qualify for the Europa League and they can be backed at 16/5 to see off Villarreal next weekend.
