The Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester City are keeping close tabs on Schalke forward Breel Embolo.
The 20-year-old joined the Miners in a mega money deal from FC Basel some 18 months ago, but he missed a large chunk of last season through an ankle injury.
Embolo has slowly been returning into action, and he clearly remains on the radar of top European clubs.
Latest reports suggest that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is closely monitoring the Switzerland international with a view of luring him to Etihad Stadium in the near future.
While scoring once in seven appearances for Switzerland on the road to the World Cup finals in Russia, Embolo only has 120 minutes of Bundesliga football under his belt this term.
