Man United making progress in Isco talks

Premier League giants Manchester United and Spanish super club Real Madrid are two sides that will be hugely disappointed with their achievements thus far this season.

The Red Devils have let Manchester City run away with the league title. trailing their rivals by 16 points with just 11 games to play. Los Blancos meanwhile are a whopping 17 points behind their eternal rivals Barcelona, and are actually sitting down in fourth in La Liga table.

The summer may bring a chance for the two teams to help each other out however, with United looking to buy Isco and Real hoping to sell the midfielder in order to purchase Harry Kane, Mauro Icardi or Eden Hazard, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Many had hoped that Isco would make the step up after James Rodriguez went out on loan to Bayern Munich, but the Spaniard has struggled for consistent game time. Despite that he has registered five goals and four assists in 19 league appearances this season, with five of those coming from the bench.
