Brazil right-back Daniel Alves has declared that he wants leave Sevilla this summer, which have alerted Manchester United, who are seeking a replacement for aging and often injured Gary Neville.
Chelsea almost signed the player last summer, but Blues owner Roman Abramovich refused to pay Sevilla’s asking price of £25million then. Chelsea have recently signed Portugal right-back José Bosingwa for £16.2m, and would most likely not be entering the race for Alves this time.
Barcelona with new manager Pep Guardiola in charge, have targetted the 25-year-old as well.
According to Diario Sport, Alves has told that he has played his final game for Sevilla and has already agreed personal terms with Barcelona.
