New Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is reported by the Daily Mirror to want to sign Marseille striker Djibril Cisse on loan.

The twenty-six year old French International, perhaps as famous for his haircuts as for his football, has played in the Premier League before when he was with Liverpool between 2004 and 2007.

He has always scored goals wherever he has been and with goalscoring proving to be a problem for Manchester City last season, Hughes might see him as one of the final pieces of his jigsaw.
