Marseille close on three players

Fallen giants Marseille could soon announce no fewer than three new signings, according to Le 10 Sport.

OM have so far seen Michy Batshuayi, Brice Dja Djedje, Steve Mandanda, Nicolas N’Koulou and Benjamin Mendy leave the club, but there have been no major recruits.

That could be about to change as Marseille appear to have agreed a deal to sign talented midfielder Zinedine Machach from Toulouse.

The youngster arrives at Stade Velodrome on loan with an option to buy, looking to prove his worth at the big stage.

The 20-year-old has only made 17 Ligue 1 appearances in his career, but he is predicted a bright future and will not get a chance to continue his development at Stade Velodrome.

At the same time, Marseille are looking to bring two high-profile players from England to France, as Bafetimbi Gomis and Clinton N’Jie could join their ranks in the coming weeks.
