Marseille youngster in high demand

Le 10 Sport is reporting that a host of top European sides are keeping close tabs on Marseille midfielder Bilal Boutobba.

The 16-year-old was handed his first team debut by former coach Marcelo Bielsa and he made a total of three substitute appearances last season.

But, despite being regarded as the club’s hottest prospect, Boutobba has yet to sign the first professional contract with the club.

The youngster and his agents are not satisfied with the terms offered by Marseille and there is a chance that the talented footballer could leave Stade Velodrome even if he would prefer to stay.

According to Le 10 Sport, the likes of Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Juventus, Porto and Manchester City are all hot on the trail of Boutobba and are ready to pounce in case the youngster does not sign a contract with OM.

Given the number of top sides showing interest in the player’s services, Marseille need to seriously improve their offer if they want to keep hold of their prized asset.
