Martin Odegaard set for Bundesliga move

Spanish daily newspaper AS has suggested that Real Madrid wonderkid Martin Odegaard could be moving to German Bundesliga this summer.

The Norwegian midfielder has been unable to break into the first team set-up at Santiago Bernabeu and together with his father, the youngster will sit down with los Blancos officials to try and find the best solution.

Chances are that Odegaard will be allowed to leave Real Madrid on a season-long loan, with German Bundesliga his most likely destination.

A host of German clubs, including Bayern Munich, Borussia M’gladbach and Hamburg have been showing interest in the 17-year-old youngster, who has yet to make his first appearance for the senior team.

Odegaard has broken several records already after he was handed his Norway debut before the age of 16, but his progress appears to have stalled following a move to Real Madrid, with many believing he hadn’t made the right choice.
